Trauma Research Library

The Trauma Research Library, located within the NTRI, has an increasing number of books, journals and reports available for loan. New additions this month include a number of outcome measures suitable for trauma rehabilitation, including:

• Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (Roos, Roos, Lohmander, Ekdahl, Beynnon, 1998)
• Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand (Institute for Work and Health and American Academy of Orthpaedic Surgeons, 1997)

Other recent additions include the National Institute of Clinical Studies (2006) guide to Identifying barriers to evidence uptake.

This guide is designed to support health care professionals in changing clinical practice to increase the uptake of evidence. The guide provides information about techniques for identifying barriers to clinical change. The National Institute of Clinical Studies is a national agency with the aim of closing gaps between best evidence and current clinical practice.
